I’m going to keep this blog really short because, if you were busy before EOY, you’re already hurting and it’s only the first week of EOY. So stay with me, just for a minute. About this time last year, my blog was about how bad EOY was for me for many years. I had too much work, systems that weren’t good enough to stand scrutiny, not enough reliable help and working horrendously long hours to get everything done within the short deadlines.

If you could relate to that last year and nothing has changed this year, then perhaps it’s time to make a stand. Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. What do you need to do differently in the next 12 months that’s going to change the trajectory of your business and give you your life back?

And if you’re not full up yet then your focus for the next 12 months is marketing. Go hard and do what’s necessary to fill your books so you can look back and be proud of reaching that goal.
